Human Adventure

Humans are the only species that have developed the ability to think rather than just act. This gives us the ability to create culture, to understand and share ideas, and to live together peacefully. It also gives us the ability to imagine the future, to dream, and to innovate. The future is where all human progress takes place. As the world becomes more advanced, the nature of work is rapidly changing.

We all want to be happy.

The pursuit of happiness is the journey towards our authentic selves. We all have that hidden spark of joy that makes us feel alive and brings a smile to our faces. When we forget to tap into that feeling, we miss out on our own happiness and the happiness of others. The way to find happiness is to remember that you were born with a purpose, and to keep reminding yourself of the things that make you feel good.

No one is born happy.

While everyone is born with a unique personality, we do not all experience the world the same way. Some people find happiness in the simplest of things while others need more adventurous experiences to feel content. No one is born with a predilection for happiness, but everyone has the ability to cultivate a happy attitude. If you find yourself unhappy in a particular situation, you can work towards improving your happiness and make your current situation more bearable.

We all have to make choices.

Our lives are a constant series of choices. We choose what to do with our time, what to say to others, what to eat, what to wear, where to live, and how to spend our money. If we’re not careful, we can get so caught up in making the “right” choice that we forget about making any choice at all. We forget that life is full of options and that we can choose what to do with each one.

We all have to learn how to deal with our emotions.

When you learn how to manage negative emotions, you discover what you can do to stop a negative thought before it can take control of you. The moment you realize just how powerful your thoughts can be is the moment you take control of your life.

It's okay to talk about your challenges.

Sometimes we struggle because life gets in the way. Maybe you’re dealing with an illness or injury that was unexpected, or maybe you’re raising a family and end up putting your priorities in line differently than you did before. Whatever your struggles are, it’s important to remember that you aren’t alone, and there’s no shame in asking for help. If you struggle with depression and anxiety, talk to your primary care provider about the different options available to you. If you deal with chronic pain, there are a variety of treatments available to you as well. If you have a specific issue, such as infertility, you may be able to talk with a counselor to help you work through what’s causing your struggles.

We can all learn to love ourselves.

It’s important to remember that no one is perfect and that everyone deserves love, regardless of their flaws. There is no right or wrong way to love yourself, and you are not alone if you struggle to love yourself. If you believe that you don’t deserve to love yourself or that you are unlovable, it’s important to work on those beliefs. One way you can practice loving yourself is by reading self-help books, starting a journal, or even writing a love letter to yourself.

It's okay to say no.

As humans, our bodies, minds, and souls are designed to flourish. Having a clear sense of what makes us feel fulfilled helps us make the right choices for ourselves and those around us. Sometimes, it’s easier to say no to things that aren’t bringing us joy. But the path to happiness is rarely an easy one. It’s perfectly fine to say no to things that don’t align with your values or beliefs, and to stick to the things that do.

Conclusion

We all have a different sense of what makes a great story, but what most people can agree on is that it must have a beginning, middle and end. While the beginning can be the most exciting, often the middle is where the real story happens. A good story needs a powerful climax, and a great ending will leave your audience satisfied and eager to share your story with their friends.
